Manning Pool Service Welcomes Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
Houston, Texas – February 26, 2019 – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is back! Manning Pool Service has always admired this celebration of healthy competition, food, and family fun. This will be another year of exciting entertainment and giving back to the community that the show is famous for.

This year’s show will run from February 25-March 17, 2019, and features entertainment for all ages. The competitions will include calf scramble, AG robotics contest, beef quiz bowl, BBQ cook-off, tractor technician contest, and more.
In particular, the calf scramble will be a delight to watch. The contest involves 15 calves to be chased and caught by 30 youngsters. Every winner receives a cash certificate to buy registered beef heifer or market steer to be displayed at the show following year.
Another highlight of the show is the carnival, with loads of food and fun. Visitors love the many rides they can enjoy, including a 130-feet ferris wheel: La Grande XL with air-conditioned cabins. Wednesday is dedicated as Family Day, with tons of great discounts for families.
There can’t be a carnival without food. The Houston Rodeo is famous for its fried cuisine, and carnival fare such as funnel cake. Alongside food, there will be some great music, and this year we will see Brad Paisley, Camila Cabello, and Panic! At the Disco perform live.
Houston’s Rodeo isn’t just about fun. They give back so much to our community. The event has a famous scholarship program, which has given millions of dollars in scholarships since the show began in 1942. Today, it is the sixth largest BBB-accredited charitable organization in Houston. Apart from this, the Rodeo imparts an economic stimulus to the region.
