TAMA MARTIAL ARTS CENTER HOSTED THE BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU LEGEND SHAWN HAMMONDS AT ITS RECENT SEMINAR
Ohio’s Tama Martial ArtsCenter has proudly announced that it has recently organized a seminar on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by the legendary Shawn Hammonds. The seminar took place on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 at TAMA Martial Arts’ studio. Hosted by Manuel Taningco, the event also marked his 43rdanniversary of teaching at The Greater Dayton Miami Valley Area. Several martial arts students and experts attended the seminar and got a chance to meet Shawn Hammonds, who has beaten all the odds in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
“We are officially affiliated with Shawn Hammonds Brazilian Jiu-jitsu training program although, we had him come to our studio to teach for the last 10 years.” Said Manuel Taningco, while talking about the seminar. “It was an honor to have him at our studio and we are also grateful to everyone, who attended this BJJ training with Shawn Hammonds.” He added. Shawn Hammonds currently teaches BJJ in Dayton, Ohio and is a name that needs no introduction when it comes to the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
In addition, Jiu-Jitsu Training by Shawn Hammonds is not only popular in the United States but also worldwide. The legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trainer has competed and won several world championships and has won some of the toughest competitions in this discipline of martial arts. Moreover, the Black Belt has also secured at least six international medals including a gold medal at the Pan American Championship. According to Manuel, the legendary trainer will continue to teach at the Tama Martial Arts Center with the spirit of keeping the traditions of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alive in Ohio.
